On January 18-19,2024, the 4th IND2024 Innovative Diagnostic Technology Application Forum for Infectious Diseases was held in Shanghai. With the theme of "Focusing on technological innovation, heading for accurate diagnosis", the forum brought together more than 60 well-known experts in the field of production, university, research and medicine, as well as thousands of industry colleagues. They were gathering to analyze the application and clinical needs of innovative technologies from multiple dimensions such as national policies, industry trends, and technology platform applications.
tNGS technology based on ultra-multiplex PCR has become one of the rapid diagnostic techniques for infectious diseases.
Uni-medica pioneered one-step library construction of tNGS technology, which enriched the target pathogen and constructed the library by only one round of PCR using ultra-multiplex PCR technology, followed by high-throughput sequencing and result analysis. One-step tNGS takes into account the characteristics of high sensitivity and high throughput of traditional tNGS, easier operation, and suitable for PCR laboratories.
